For the past 6 months, I have pretty much lived in leggings and yoga pants, so of course I smiled when I saw that ‘flared leggings’ was trending on TikTok! Pssst! FYI, flared legging is just a new name for yoga pants. We can always count on Gen Z to remix something and have the terminology buzzing across the interwebs! But, I digress, let’s get back to the gift of yoga pants being the new hot trend!
I’m an avid leggings wearer and let me just say, yoga pants are next-level comfortable. The cotton flared leggings ones are pretty much like butter on your skin, soft and comfy and lightweight. The more stretchy fabrics are amazing too because some of them are high-waisted (so you get a little snatching of the waist if that’s your style), but they are also usually pretty breathable as well. And sometimes the yoga gods decide to show out for no reason and do things like adding pockets to the pants. I mean, they totes know the way to a girl’s heart.

I’m interested to see if athleisure brands will add more yoga pants options to their fashion rosters. This is a fashion movement that I can get behind, so I will definitely keep following this trend!
