About

Margo Francois Aiyegbusi is a yoga teacher and health/wellness expert based in Tampa, FL. She is also a Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at one of the largest beauty companies in the world. After several years of working as a beauty and wellness writer and marketer, whose work was featured in national print and online publications, she launched an award-winning beauty and lifestyle blog in 2012.

In 2015, she started documenting her yoga journey on her blog and social media. As someone who has always championed diversity and inclusion, she noticed there was a lack of diverse representation at local yoga studios and in national media. This inspired her to become a 200-HR registered yoga teacher in 2017 followed by a 100-HR Rocket Yoga certification in 2020. Margo is currently pursuing her 300-HR Adaptive Yoga certification to ensure she is equipped to share a breadth of evidence-based practices to support her clients’ awareness, recovery and maintenance of wellness and self-care.

  • Margo, I’m currently in YTT and I feel your authenticity. Big belly, thunder thighs are states of mind – not actual states being. Thank you for acknowledging the dichotomies that exist when we allow fear of judgement usurp our sense of self. Yes I have LARGE thighs. They are strong and support me unconditionally. Yes I have a FULL belly. My core gives me strength to pike in headstand. Love is unconditional and judgement is conditional. Thank you for showing us the strength and vulnerability in self love and acceptance. It’s a beautiful way to exist. Namaste. ??

    • Hi Joy. Wow… thank you so much for your amazingly kind, raw and beautiful words. Congrats on YTT! Our bodies are truly a gift and you are a phenomenal role model for your students for being wise enough to know that every part of our being is essential to supporting us in mind body and spirit. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your beautiful spirit here. Namaste.
