Hmmm… sometimes sending one quick e-mail can really get you what you want! At least that’s the case for Lena Dunham.
The writer, creator and star of the hit HBO series Girls sent the uber-fab celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann and e-mail that said:
“ ‘Can’t Hannah have her own hunter-green kind of nail color?’ ” according to Lippmann.
Welp, her wish was Deborah’s command because she’s created a limited edition Girls nail polish collection that consists of four pretty hues that are each named after the show’s four main characters: Hannah (hunter green) , (Marni) pastel pink, Shoshanna (pastel purple) and Jessa (deep red).
If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that I’m a fan of Girls and I was was pretty stoked about the season 2 premiere of the HBO series on Sunday night.
While I was tuned in to the latest episode of the show, the ladies were collecting awards in LA at the 2013 Golden Globes. The Lena Duham won a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy and the show also won for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
The Deborah Lippmann Girls Four-Piece Set goes on sale February 1, but it’s available for pre-order, now! You can get the limited-edition collection for $45 at deborahlippmann.com.
Looks like Team Hannah’s winning in 2013 ! Will you be giving these nail colors a try?
Ciao Bellas,
