How are all of my fabulous people doing today?! Of course, I have some glam beauty news to share with y’all! Celebrity Makeup artist AJ Crimson (whom I love!) has given us beauty-loving girls something to smile about by teaming up with OFRA Cosmetics for the launch of AJ Crimson BB+D Cream.
He even tapped his longtime friends and clients LeToya Luckett, Alexandra Burke, and Adrienne Bailon to be a part of the product’s promotional campaign! (Aren’t they giving all kinds of face and attitude?!)
The AJ Crimson BB+D Cream’s formula contains anti-aging silk peptides to hydrate and nourish the skin, cover blemishes, age spots and discoloration of the face. (Goodbye Hyperpigmentation!)
In case you’re curious, BB cream (Beauty Balm) is usually a lightweight form of foundation that’s heavier than a tinted moisturizer. It’s not as heavy as a regular foundation and it’s not created to be used as one–it’s more of an everyday alternative. DD cream (Dynamic Do-all) is a fairly new form of beauty technology that’s lightweight with buildable coverage… kinda like BB Cream on steroids.
Usually, you can use one product or the other, depending on your beauty needs, but of course the oh-so-fab and ever-innovative AJ Crimson is giving us the best of both worlds by combining them both in one product! He didn’t stop there, he’s also giving us a wider range of color options.
“My goal is to bridge that gap!” AJ said in a press release. “Women in the global community come in more than a couple shades and are left with limited options. By customizing the right shades and increasing the coverage, we made BB better!”
I’m one of those late bloomers in the world of BB Creams and haven’t really dabbled in what they can really do, but I’m toes interested in AJ’s latest beauty treat out for myself. It’s just in time for summer!
