For the past 5 years, I’ve been an avid reader of the ah-mazing blog Fashion Bomb Daily. I knew it was a place where I could go to see women of color looking good and I could always get some glamspiration about what to wear and how to wear it. It was pretty much my introduction to many high fashion labels, models and publications. The blog’s creator Claire Sulmers, was my stylish big sister in my head and I love to see how the site’s grown and continues to break fashion barriers.
That’s why I’m totes on board with her latest fashion venture with the talented illustrator Nicole Updegraff, called Candy Bomb Apparel. They’ve started with a line of uber-fab graphic tees clad with the faces of some of fashion, music and entertainment’s biggest stars like Eartha Kitt, Dorothy Dandridge, Josephine Baker, Grace Jones, Andre Leon Talley, Iman and more!
The tees come in white and heather gray and are only $30! And, yes, there are shirts in both men and women’s sizes. According to Claire more black iconic figures are on the way like Sade and Billie Holiday! (Yasssss!!!) I’m an instant fan of these tees and need Earth and Diana in my closet ASAP!
You can shop the collection at the Candy Bomb Apparel site.
Happy shopping!
