Yesterday, there was a cold front in the Tampa Bay Area. It was the first time since the Autumn season officially started that temperatures dropped from the low 90’s and mid-80’s and dropped into the 40’s.
Today, it’s a different story. It’s back in the 70’s and I tossed my sweater and boots for gaucho pants, a tank, a light jacket, caged heels (also worn here) and a black leather clutch!
I haven’t worn gaucho pants in years, but I couldn’t resist this pair that I stumbled upon for a steal at TJ Maxx.
I wore these pants to dinner with a friend a couple of weeks ago (Yes, I’m wearing them like they’re the only pants I own.) and she said “Cute skirt!” I smiled like a giddy little kid as I exclaimed “They’re pants!”
We laughed and reminisced about how our moms used to love putting us in gaucho pants as kids and how grown-up we felt wearing them. I still feel that way when I slip them on.
Today, I wore them to the office for a casual look. I threw on a black jacket with leather sleeves to pull everything together. This is definitely one of those transitional pieces that I’ll keep at the front of my closet. I guess that’s the gift and the curse of living in Florida–you can have 40-degree weather one day and be rocking a tank and open-toed heels the next one.
(I just noticed I look extremely serious in every pic for this post! I promise, I wasn’t mad y’all!)
Ciao Bellas,

Thanks, Bri! Yes, I’m adding more to my collection if possible! LOL
