Hey beautiful people! I hope your day’s going fabulously. Remember, when I told you that I met Celebrity Makeup Artist Valerie P. Hernandez-Garcia in Las Vegas a few weeks ago? (Check out our Glam Interview!) Well, I was privileged enough to get my makeup done by her and the results were beyond #flawless! *Cue Beyoncé’s song* As much as I wish “I woke up like ‘dis” … I totes didn’t but Val beat my face to the gawds using Youngblood Mineral Cosmeitcs!
As soon as I left Val’s chair I was inundated with compliments on my look, so of course I decided to seize the moment by snapping pics and reaching out to Val for a rundown of the products that she used to get the look.
Here are all of the Youngblood products that were used to create this look, straight from Val! Here’s how you can get the look! (Of course you’ll have to switch up some of the colors to match your skintone, but if you’re a brown girl with a warm complexion like mine these colors should work great on you!)

I used Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics on your skin because I love how flawless the skin feels and looks. It not only looks and feels good on the skin but ask contains ingredients your skin can benefit from.
What are the benefits of using Youngblood for women of color?
I like to use Youngblood on women of color because it is one of the only mineral lines that will not oxidize or turn grey on darker skin tones.
The makeup lasted pretty much all afternoon and evening. I tend to get oily throughout the day, but I didn’t have to blot it or anything. The lipstick also had awesome staying power! I was beyond pleased with the finished look and I can’t wait to add these products to my always-growing makeup collection.
