This weekend I made googly eyes with a camel and bought some super-cute fashions. It was all at one of my new favorite fashion spots here in the Chicago area called Akira. The store was celebrating 10 years of being in business–and boy did they do it with a bang! The event took place at their 3 Bucktown locations, which include a men’s store, women’s store and a shoe store.
I kept my oufit simple, but colorful with a pair of floral Cynthia Rowley shorts, a white tank and a vibrant pink blazer from The Limited. I accessorized with rose gold bracelets and a layered necklace.
The entertainment for the day included DJ’s, fire blowers, people dressed in their best Indian-inspired garb and free camel rides! I was so reminded of Sex & The City 2 when I heard about the camel rides, but once I got up close to the camel, posing for a picture seemed like the better option!
Just wanted to share one of my weekend excursions with you all.
Ciao Bellas,
Margo
