Attention ladies who love big hair and Jersey Girl swag: Get ready to get your glam on with the “Jerseylicious” star and hair stylist Gayle Giacomo at a Meet & Greet to celebrate the launch of her GG Gatsby Hair Care Collection!
This glam event is going down on on Thursday, November 14th, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 p.m. at ShopRite of Parsippany. Not only will you be introduced to the collection, but Gayle will be taking pictures, hosting giveaways and signing autographs!
I caught up with Gayle for details about the collection and season 6 “Jerseylicious” scoop–check it out below!
M: Congratulations on launching the GG Gatsby Hair Care Collection! How does it feel to see your vision to start a product line become a reality?
GG: Thank you!! This product line is my baby and to have people respond to it in the way they have, it is all quite humbling.
M: What sets the GG Hair Collection apart from other hair care lines?
GG: I would have to say me! (lol) I am a very honest person and I wanted an honest product. “Jerseylicious” shows the mostly glam side of me, but there is another side that on a dayto- day basis is very down-to-earth–running around town in my gym sweats and sneakers. When it comes to health and beauty, I will try anything recommended to me…which usually comes with a hefty price tag. I wanted to make a product that does what it says it does, without breaking your wallet.
M: What is your favorite product from the line and why?
GG: I would have to say it is a combination of Flirt and the Dry Shampoo. My hair takes a lot to blow it out and once it’s done I want to maintain it as long as possible. The Dry Shampoo is so easy to work with and helps control the oils that naturally build up on the scalp and hair shaft. Follow that with the essence of Flirt and you are good to go!
M: I’m an African American woman with tightly coiled hair, are there any products from the line that would work on my texture?
GG: Not yet, but there will be soon! GG Hair Care is set to launch a line that is specifically for curly hair.
M: I’m a huge fan of “Jerseylicious“. Will there be a new season of the show? If so what can we expect?
GG: Season 6 is still in production. We have not been notified as to where it will be airing.
