My obsession with Gold Label Cosmetics started when I tried their lipstick collection for the first time (Check out the swatches.). So, I jumped at the opportunity to review their newest Matte Lip Pen shades Power Player and Baby Grand.

Let’s talk about the quality of these lip pens for a minute. 

They’re highly pigmented, glide on smooth and have great staying power. Seriously, they don’t rub off at all! I’m not talking about a couple of hours of wear either. I wore it to work and it lasted for 8+ hours without me having to reapply. I drank multiple cups of tea, drank water, had lunch and snacks and the product didn’t move from my lips.  Gold Label Cosmetics recommends using an oil like Coconut Oil for removal. 

Beyond have a gorgeous gold packaging, these lip pens boast a cool push-pen applicator. You pretty much click and apply. You’ll have to click the button on the bottom of the lip pen several times for your first wear, but the product comes out with just a couple of clicks for future application.

Power Player is a warm brown shade with deep peach undertones that is EVERYTHING.

Baby Grand is a cool berry shade that is perfect for fall… or any other season! It’s bold enough to turn heads on date-night, but also looks great in the workplace.

This isn’t my first time rocking a Gold Label Cosmetics Matte Lip Pen. A few months ago, I bought the St. Barths Bundle, which contains the shades Social Diary and Style Session and it was love at first swipe. Other people noticed how fly these colors were, too—I received tons of compliments on the beautiful, bold shades.  

I’m a dedicated fan of Gold Label Cosmetics, and my love for the brand keeps on getting deeper as they continue to create amazing, quality products.  

It’s truly amazing because last year when I interviewed the brand’s founder, Kristen Brown, she made it clear that her vision was to grow the brand by creating luxury products at affordable prices. Fast-forward to now, and they’re doing just that! Can this brand be more inspiring?!
