Haute or Not?: Beyonce’s March 2013 Vogue Cover & Fashion Spread

Remember when I shared a picture that was rumored to be Beyonce’s cover for the March issue of Vogue?

Well that picture turned out to be the promo art for the announcement of The Mrs. Carter Show tour. Well, Beyonce really is covering the March issue (aka the Power Issue) of the glossy and I’ve got pictures from the spread to share!

While some folks have mixed-feelings about the cover and spread appearing too plain and boring,  I disagree  It’s absolutely stunning and gives me that 90’s super model vibe. (I miss the simplicity and chic nature that fashion oozed back then!)

I like the barely-there makeup, upswept hair and emphasis on the colors and textures of the pieces that she’s wearing. And these piece are the epitome of fab coming from Oscar de la Renta, Alexander McQueen and Haider Askermann. The photographer, Patrick Demarchelier, defintely nailed some gorgeous shots for the issue. I vote Haute!
