Rita Ora is definitely one of those girls in the fashion realm who’s always breaking the rules, while creating a style lane of her own. This week the singer stepped out at HMV studios in London to sign copies of her debut album, “Ora” wearing a black PVC crop top and skirt with a flame print from the debut collection of the Meat Clothing fashion line. She paired the outfit with flaming red lips, blonde spiraly curls and a pair of Nike Air Jordan tennis shoes.
As much as I love Rita’s bravado for stepping outside of the box and supporting a new fashion line, I am absolutely not feeling this look. I don’t think it’s ever a good idea to step out in PVC anything from head-to-toe. It looks too costume-like. In a strange way, she pulls it off, but I don’t think this is a trend to try! I love this material for shoes (like those gorge Christian Louboutin PVC pumps), but not a skirt and matching top!
I do love her gold House of Holland ‘Cagefighters’ sunglasse, though…and her chunky gold arm candy is cute. Her accessories are HAUTE!
What do you think about Rita’s Meat Clothing outfit? Haute or not?
Ciao Bellas,
