So, I was scrolling through my Facebook news feed, which is something that I rarely do and one of my friends who is always known for posting newsworthy fashion items introduced me to Jacquie “Tajah” Murdock, and 82-year old who is featured in Lanvin Fall/Winter 2012 campaign.
The French brand opted out of using models for the campaign and featured real people in classic, well-tailored fashions from the line. (Totes a breath of fresh air!) My jaw hit the floor when I saw Jacquie “Tajah” Murdock in apeplum green dress, dripping in fancy accessories and giving the coveted smize (smiling with your eyes) that Tyra Banks always talks about on ANTM. She clearly looks like a paid model.)
I couldn’t believe that this poised woman who was giving all kinds of face was 82-years old! Still can’t believe it, but I give her crazy props for aging gracefully (and that’s an extreme understatement!) I’m an instant fan. She’s a true testament that style is ageless.
