I have a confession. I’ve been shopping, I’ve been shopping. *Beyonce voice*
I’ve been shopping like crazy for the past few months and while I love sprucing up my wardrobe and have fabulous options to choose from, my closet is screaming for a purge. I’m also one of those people with detachment issues because we all know that fashion is cyclical. I want to travel more and enjoy time hanging out with bae, so I’ve decided to cut back on my spending on clothing and fashion. Instead of having shopping YOLO moments, I’ve decided to treat myself to only a couple of new items per month. This may not sound like I’m cutting back to some, but for me this is major!
This month I’m into frilly shoes, layering pieces and jumpsuits. Since I won’t be breaking the bank to purchase all of these items at once, I’m sharing my current wishlist with you!
To stay focused and still satisfy the crazy rush I get when I know I’m snagging amazing pieces for even better deals (90% of what I buy is on Sale or Clearance), I knew I needed to figure out something that would help me think twice before filling up a shopping cart at my favorite stores. That’s when I decided to become a wishlist queen! I get a crazy satisfaction from clicking on fashionable pieces and adding them to my wishlist. It gives me time to watch the item if it goes on sale and it piques my inspiration.
How do you cut back on your spending?
