I. HATE. WASTING. PRODUCT.

I’m the girl who takes the lid off of my lotion bottle and sticks my finger inside to scrape the sides or pounds the product out into the palm of my hand. I like to use my cosmetics down to the last drop! So, when I received a free sample of the Spatty to review on my blog, I was intrigued.

What is the Spatty?

The Spatty is a tools that was created by Cheryl Rigdon help eliminate the waste of products when you can no longer get them out of the container. For example, have you ever had a bottle of foundation and even though you know there’s product left inside of the bottle, you can’t get it out without pounding the bottle and even then you never really get all of it out? This is the solution to that problem.

The smaller of these tools is the Spatty and the larder is the Spatty Daddy, while I’ve used them to scoop foundation and lotion from nearly empty containers, you can also use these tools in the kitchen.

How does it work?

I decided to put the Spatty to the test by using it with an “empty” bottle of makeup foundation.

Here’s what happened.

According to Cheryl, up to 25% of cosmetics/lotions are left in the container when you can no longer get the product out. Of course this means that essentially you’re wasting your favorite products as well as money. I like to ball on a budget, so I like knowing that I can use this tool to scoop all of my product out down to the last drop.
