Finding the perfect nude lippie as a woman of color can be difficult because our skin tones are not the default for most beauty companies.

So, of course, when I was given the opportunity to review Emley Cosmetics’ Nude Attitude collection, I was excited to give it a try!

The first thing that caught my eye about this collection was its sleek, clean packaging and pretty floral logo.

It applies smoothly and dries very fast—which is something that stood out because some liquid lipsticks take forever to dry. It has pretty good staying power and lasted through my morning coffee into lunchtime before I had to do a touch-up. 

This collection comes in four nude shades: Sugar Baby, Basic Beach, Stripaholic and Keep it Peachy.

Disclaimer: I was only able to swatch three of the colors. Unfortunately, I misplaced the Basic Beach lipstick . 

Of the three shades featured here, Stripaholic is my fave to wear. It looks amazing on dark skin and will be in heavy rotation this summer and fall.
