Lately, I’ve been taking time to self-reflect.
It’s been almost 5 months since I gave birth to my baby boy and the transition into motherhood has been quite the learning experience and lifestyle change.

My main goal is to be the best mommy that I can to my little one and although, this is a healthy goal to have, and one that I will continue to work toward mastering, I’ve noticed that, sometimes I put my wellbeing on the back burner.
I can’t be my best self if I don’t take care of myself–mind, body and soul. If I want to attain my goal of being the best mom that I can to my little gummy bear, then I have to make it a priority to be the best version of Margo that I can be!
That’s why, I’m challenging myself to take 5 minutes of my day to silence my mind and just breathe. These five minutes can be quiet time or they can be a time to journal or silently reflect. It can also be a time that you do something that you enjoy. It doesn’t matter what you do but it does matter that you do it without letting any negative thoughts or distractions get in the way.
Take this time to love on yourself and practice self-awareness… you deserve it.
Practice this for a couple of weeks and notice how it changes you. I can assure you it will be for the better!
