I’m no makeup pro, but I like to dabble and enhance my features using different products and techniques. I’ve always loved watching make up artist treat the face like a canvas and paint on gorgeous creams, liquids, glitters and powders for a fabulous finished look. Everybody and their mama’s mama is obsessed with contouring, strobing and getting the perfect looks for a fab selfie.

I’ve been contouring my face for years and I primarily used powder. While I still love my powders I wanted to be able to better place and control the product that I used for this process. I knew I wanted to incorporate a cream contour and highlighting palette in my routine, so I started stalking some of my favorite beauty blogs and stumbled upon the NYX Cosmetics 3C Conceal Correct Contour Palette.  I bought it in “Dark.”

Once I got the palette I snapped a few pics and reached out to my Instagram followers for feedback. They shared great tips and reviews, so I felt pretty happy with my purchase.

I’ve been using the NYX Cosmetics 3C Conceal Correct Contour Palette for about a month now and my first impression is “Yasssss!” There are 6 shades in the palette that all cater to color correcting, concealing and sculpting your face via contouring.

I use the orange for color correction under my eyes and on some areas of my cheeks that are affected by hyper pigmentation. By doing this I nearly cut my foundation routine in half, which saves me time and money because I use less product.

The darkest color is what I use to contour–I feel like the makeup gods shined down on me with this shade because I’ve searched high and low for a contour color that was really pigmented and warm but not red/orange in appearance. This is it!

Sometimes I mix the color right above the darkest shade with the dark to soften the contour.

To highlight, I initially started with the shade in the top left side of the palette, but one of my IG followers suggested using the yellow color in the bottom left and it works!
