QOTD: Would You Get A “Loub Job” or Battle “Toe-Besity” with Surgery?

I know… I know… the question posed in the title of this post is off-the-chain, right? No, I’m not trying to be cute or funny, apparently the look, size and shape of one’s toes is big business in the world of cosmetic surgery.

According to recent beauty reports that I’ve stumbled across, toe-slimming is a huge trend. Women with no physical pain or debilitating foot issues are hitting up doctors to slim their toes, so they won’t be crammed into their stilettos, pumps, et. and etc.!

Idk about you, but I feel some kind of way about going to the doctor just because I think my big toe is too fat, but to each his own. Procedures run from hundreds-to-thousands of dollars.

Apparently, our fellow shoenistas across the pond are also opting for surgical procedures to reshape their feet for more comfortable wear of sky-high shoes with a procedure known as “Loub Jobs” (named after the amazingly innovative, stylish, quirky and just plain FAB shoe designer Christian Louboutin… we already know he’s not afraid to design a 6.5″ heel!) Word on the street is that Victoria Beckham is one of the main sources of inspiration for them to try this procedure.

This procedure entails getting injections and fillers into their toes, heels and the balls of their feet.  Ok… I guess *confused face*

What’s your take on these procedures, lovelies? Would you try them for more a more comfy experience in sky-high heels?

Ciao Bellas,
