Hot…like…fire. Take…you…higher! (Do y’all remember that Aaliyah song?) I used to love the flame-filled music video! Apparently there is totally a haute fashion trend lingering as of late, and it’s the little red dress! Loveley ladies like Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Jenna Dewan-Tatum have all stepped out in recent days rocking this sassy trend, and I’m loving each of their looks.
Rihanna wore a red Calvin Klein slip dress to the GQ Men of The Year Party. The “Diamonds” singer also gives all kinds of fearless fierceness on the cover of the December issue of the magazine. (An by fearless, I mean she ain’t rockin’ nothing but a leather jacket and perfectly made up face!)
Kim Kardashian was seen out in about looking like the Kim whose fashion sense I grew to love in past years. She stepped out in a red dress with a flirty keyhole design from the Kardashian Kollection for Dorothy Perkins. (Yep, Kourtney, Kim & Khloe are still expanding their fashion empire!) I definitely think I’ll be investing in a LRD for the holiday season.
